MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – August 22, 2011 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr. and Thomas Paine

Phil Grannan requested signatures for an AFG application. The Board of Selectmen has authorized Phil Grannan to sign grants for the Town of Tolland.
Phil stated that if the Town of Tolland is awarded the grant the Tolland Volunteer Fire Department will be contributing $5,000 and the Town of Tolland will be contributing $10,000.
Wayne Carr scheduled an open box to be placed at the Transfer Station on August 31 until it is full. A fee will be charged for items.
Eric mentioned that Brittany Munson will be coordinating a 9-11 remembrance ceremony that will be taking place on 9-11 on the Tolland green.
Margaret McClellan, Tax Collector informed the board that Tolland’s demand fee will be increasing to $10 starting with fiscal 2012 tax bills.
Change Order #8r approved conduit at the DPW $703.00
Eliminate shower ADA shower, clearance issue.
